New Honda two-wheeler teased again; reveals exhaust note




- Reveals a probable long-stroke exhaust note

- Shows the exhaust heat shield

- Could be a new power-scooter or the Dio 125

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has released another teaser of its upcoming product. This time, the video reveals the exhaust heat shield and the exhaust note. While it sounds similar to a long-stroke motor (usually used for cruisers), we still expect Honda to launch a power-scooter or the Dio 125cc model.

The first teaser revealed the headlight, floorboard, and a few other bits, hinting at a new scooter. So we believe Honda is likely to bring the 125cc version of its sporty scooter, the Dio. As of now, Honda India only offers the 110cc model for the Dio and has two 125cc offerings – the Activa 125, a rather family-friendly scooter, and the Grazia, used by office goers. However, a Dio 125 would cater to younger buyers who’d prefer a sporty offering. 

Moreover, the 125cc segment currently has the TVS Ntorq 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125, and Suzuki Burgman Street. So, it would make sense for Honda to bring a youthful offering in the segment with the Dio.
